Miniature Mondays 1: Snake Clan Goblin

Welcome to the first Miniature Monday. Today's Miniature is a Snake Clan Goblin warrior.

You can grab the PDF by clicking here.

I'm gonna look for a better way to serve the files, Mediafire will just have to do for now. Good Gamin'.

Mission Statement

Hi all,

I just wanted to use this first post to give those of you who have enough faith in me to have wandered over here a brief over view of what I have planned.

I'm trying out the idea of having a set posting schedule in order to keep me on task. With regards to that I will be happy if I can post a minimum twice a week. These weekly post will take the form of Miniature Mondays, and The Weekly One-Shot.

Miniature Mondays

Once a week, hopefully on Mondays, I will post paper fig for you to download and use in your game. I enjoy drawing figs, and figure this is a good way to share them with you all. I will see if I can attach them as PDFs for easy printing, and will also happily take requests.

Weekly One-Shot

This one might be a little tougher, and hopefully won't get too formulaic. It has been almost 4 years since I've had an on going campaign(not counting Play by Post, a.k.a. Gaming Methadone), which seems insane to me, but is none the less true. In that time I've had tons of game ideas with no outlet to share them, so I figure I will use this blog for that purpose.

The goal is to release a 3-5 encounter one shot a week. Never having done this before I may have to rethink this concept as time goes by, but I think it is doable.

More Ramblings

So that's what I have planned in addition to random ramblings and commentaries. Gaming has always been a cathartic experience for me and as a writer a way of creating story with friends in a free flowing way. When I sit down to write a script, or even a blog post there is a lot of editorial paralysis, the permanence of the text keep you analyzing over and over, but with a game if you fuck up, you can hand wave it away and continue on. I've been missing that freedom and look forward to regaining my hobby.

Good Gaming.
